Harley-Davidson has launched the LiveWire One in the USA, under its standalone electric brand, LiveWire. While the new bike will roughly have the same specs as the company’s first LiveWire motorcycle, it will be more attractively priced in the hopes of attracting more customers. The LiveWire One will start at $21,999 and will initially be available to customers in only three states: California, New York, and Texas. There aren’t too many changes. It retains the stout design as well as the extensive list of electronic aids and features. LED lights all around, TFT screen, rider aids like traction control, cornering ABS, riding modes, and features like smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth for navigation, music control, and communication are standard. It still uses the 15.4kWh battery and offers a range of 235km. The battery can be charged from 0 to 80 percent in just 45 minutes and 0 to 100 percent in an hour. The underpinnings also remain unchanged.

There are few other major differences, though Harley-Davidson did not release a spec sheet at press time. Plugged into a DC fast charger, the LiveWire One’s battery will go from 0 to 100 percent in 60 minutes, or 0 to 80 percent in 45 minutes. Much like the original LiveWire, this new bike will have a six-axis IMU (inertial measurement unit) to help with traction control and anti-lock braking.
